Ashmit Patel is back in the news again after his 'Bigg Boss' days, and it's for all the wrong reasons. Ameesha's younger brother got into a drunken brawl at a nightclub in Lower Parel, Mumbai, and assaulted Vicky, who is a close friend of Imran Khan. Vicky was very badly injured - he had a broken nose as well as many cuts and bruises. Here's what happened.
Vicky was at the nightclub with his girlfriend Pooja, when the incident happened. Ashmit apparently tried to provoke Vicky when the latter was getting a drink. When Vicky, who doesn't know Ashmit at all, didn't respond, things got worse. Ashmit allegedly began to beat him up. He was apparently very aggressive and in a terrible mood.
Vicky and Pooja rushed to the hospital but supposedly did ot file a police complaint as they didn't want to provoke Ashmit.
Pooja works with director Kabir Khan, who is believed to have confirmed the incident and added that she was trumatised by what happened. Vicky, who has worked with Imran since his 'Jaane Tu...' days, apparently lost a lot of blood and had to be operated upon.
Ashmit has not given his side of the story as yet. Earlier, Ashmit and Salman Khan's brother Sohail were involved in a similar incident when they assaulted Anupam Kher's son Sikander. Anupam went on to file a police complaint against the two.
