Madhuri's wax statue at Tussauds to come up in March

The wait is finally over, as the wax statue of Bollywood's dancing queen Madhuri Dixit will be
unveiled in Madame Tussauds in London in March this year.

As the 'Dhak Dhak' girl Madhuri prepares for a comeback in Bollywood, she has a reason to cheer, as she will be joining the gallery of wax statues at Madame Tussauds in London on March 7.

"Madame Tussaud's unveiling on March 7th, 2012. C u then!," an ecstatic Madhuri wrote on twitter.
The announcement about her wax statue had been made in early January this year.

Madhuri has dominated the industry for about two decades with several hits like 'Tezaab', 'Saajan',
'Khalnayak', 'Ram Lakhan', 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun', 'Dil To Pagal Hai', 'Devdas' and others.

After marrying doctor Shriram Nene, Madhuri had moved to Denver, US for almost a decade. However, she shifted her base to Mumbai last year, along with her husband and two children.

Madhuri is the latest actor in Bollywood to join thebandwagon of stars like, Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Salman Khan, to have a wax statue at the Madame Tussauds.

It will cost 150,000 pounds to create the statue and will take a team of sculptors and hair, makeup and wardrobe experts to create the wax statue.
