Saif is the number one hero in B 'wood: Kareena

Actress Kareena Kapoor may be reigning queen of Bollywood with a string of hits like 'Bodyguard', 'Ra.One', '3 Idiots' and 'Golmaal 3', to her credit, but the 'Heroine' feels that beau Saif Ali Khan is the number one hero.

Things are going great guns for Kareena be it in terms of her box office success or propositions that are lined up for release including 'Agent Vinod' opposite Saif besides Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Heroine' and 'Talaash' opposite Aamir Khan.

Saif Ali Khan anointed 10th Nawab of Pataudi

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was today anointed the tenth Nawab of Pataudi at a ceremony at his ancestral palace here. The 41-year-old actor was made the Nawab at a 'pagdi' ceremony this morning at the Ibrahim Palace where heads of villages tied a white turban around his head as mother Sharmila Tagore, sisters Saba and Soha looked on.

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda was also present. Saif has been given the title after his father, former Indian captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, passed away on September 22.

Saif's sister Saba Ali Khan, patron of the Auqaf-e-Shahi or the body managing the religious and charitable endowments of the erstwhile princely state, had said last week that he would be sworn in as the Nawab of Pataudi once the forty days of mourning are over. Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, whose mother was the daughter of the last nawab of Bhopal, Hamidullah Khan, was born in Bhopal and was the mutawalli (patron) of the Auqaf-e-Shahi.

Marriage on cards for Saif next year

His impending marriage to Kareena Kapoor has been making headlines since the day he started dating her, and actor Saif Ali Khan has further fuelled rumours by saying he is going to talk about it next year.

The 41-year-old actor, who has been dating Kareena since 2007 and is currently busy with the post-production of his film 'Agent Vinod', says he will focus on his upcoming production rather than talking about his marriage right now.

"Something big is definitely happening next year, for sure. This year we are going to focus on our film Agent Vinod and next year we are talking about marriage," Saif said. "If I start talking about my marriage from now, then people will shift their interest from the film to my marriage. I would not want that to happen. So, first things first," he added.

Younger sister Soha Ali Khan also chipped in saying that the marriage is due next year and she can hardly wait for it. "They (Saif and Kareena) have been together for quite some time now and their relationship has grown over the years. I can hardly wait for the wedding next year. There will be a number of functions and I am very excited about what to wear," said Soha, who was here to walk the ramp for designer Ramona Narang at the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour.

Wearing a black bandhgala, Saif, who walked the ramp for designer Mandira Wirk at the same event, said he likes associating himself with different aspects other than films.

'Aarakshan' my most complicated role: Saif

Saif Ali Khan says playing a Dalit teacher in Prakash Jha's upcoming film 'Aarakshan' has been his most difficult role so far.

The actor, who has an image of the sophisticated urban hero, is seen speaking in chaste Hindi in the movie, which also stars veteran Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Prateik and Manoj Bajpai.
And it was not an easy task for the actor, who struggles with Hindi in real life, to speak the language fluently, especially in front of Bachchan, who is famous for his command on the language.
"I am really happy to work in this movie and I thank Prakashji for giving me the most difficult and complicated role of my career. I have worked hard to understand and play this character," Saif, who was in the city to promote the film, told reporters.
The 40-year-old actor said that despite having reservation as the backdrop, the film talks about human relationships and how issues like this affect individuals.
"I think it is a very dramatic movie. When I was offered the role, my mother told me 'Go practice your Hindi' and she was right. Prakashji and Amitji both speak the Sanskrit Hindi," Saif added.
'Aarakshan' releases all over on August 12.

Deepika Padukone treasury her love triangle

Deepika Padukone, who plays upper caste student Poorbi Anand and the headmaster's daughter in Aarakshan, is spoilt for choice in the reservation drama.
She has to either pick love with Saif's character Deepak Kumar, a Dalit PhD student or security with Prateik's Sushant, a rich upper-caste fellow student?
Off-screen, however, there was no such drama and the three were virtually inseparable. So, while Jha and Bachchan Sr would be engrossed in serious conversation most of the time, the three actors would always lighten the mood. They not only bonded on set but became thick friends off set as well. Apart from getting to know each other better, they also revealed their common interests and hobbies.
While the three are already buddies, it remains to be seen who will 'attract' her love in the film
