Builder vs ex- Bollywood diva

The property dispute between yesteryear actress Sadhana and builder Yusuf Lakdawala has turned murkier, with the latter’s daughter video recording Sadhana at a private club to prove her ‘lies’.

The 70-year-old Sadhana, who has been living away from the media glare for decades, has accused Lakdawala of threatening her. She filed a police complaint alleging that Lakdawala wants to force her out of the 3,000 sq ft Santa Cruz home where she’s lived for four decades.

Sadhana stays on the ground floor of the two-storeyed ‘Sangeeta’ bungalow owned by Asha Bhosle, while Lakdawala stays on the second floor.

In response to Sadhana’s complaint, Lakdawala filed a defamation suit against her. On August 18 this year, Sadhana sought exemption from attending the proceedings at the Bandra court, citing health problems. Lakdawala has now filed a complaint with Bandra Police Station, saying on that very day his daughter Sana saw Sadhana at a private club on Carter Road playing cards. She was at the club for over four hours and Sana made a video recording of her there, the complaint said.
