B'wood extends greetings on Children's Day


Bollywood personalities have extended their good wishes on the occasion of Children's Day, asking people to donate toys and books to the needy. "May all the children of the world have Food and Shelter. Hope and Happiness. Peace and Kindness. HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY (sic)," veteran actor Anupam Kher wrote on Twitter.

"Donate books, toys, clothes, food and time whenever you can to orphanages, children's hospitals and NGOs. Help make a positive difference to their lives and yours," singer-actress Sophie Choudhary said.


"Keep that child within you always away from duniyadaari, stress, ambitions. Bit of 'masti', 'bholapan' aur genuine smile zaruri hai! Happy Children's day (sic)," actress Divya Dutta said.

Actor Akshay Kumar tweeted, "The greatest time in a person's life is when they are a child... protected, carefree and fun loving. The greatest moment in an adult's life is when they have children of their own (sic)." He shared a picture from his childhood.

"Wish happiness, joy for all the kids in the world including me... I know that I still am a little toddler at heart," actor Neil Nitin Mukesh said.  "Children's Day today! The day of the Cuties and littleCuddlies! Give them love and wings to fly always," actress Bipasha Basu tweeted.

Maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma said, "I wish the world will eventually some day grow up and have a no Children's Day. Actually the main reason why I can't stand  children is becos nobody gives me any attention when thoselittle buggers are around."  Also if all children are good then why do most of them grow up to be bad," he wondered.
