Bebo set to restore Mandakini's soggy sari act

Kareena Kapoor may have fixed to reprise Mandakini in Milan Luthria’s ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai’ sequel, but the actress has drawn a line for herself, when it comes to how future she will expose on camera. And, Mandakini's famous under the waterfall bathing scene, is a big no-no for her.

The movie has Kareena playing the love interest of the underworld don Dawod Ibrahim. And since Mandakini created quite a rage with her wet and wild white sari act in Raj Kapoor’s ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’ (1985), Luthria was thinking to recreate the famous scene in his OUATIM sequel.

The shot required Kareena to don a white sari that too without a blouse/inner and bath under a waterfall. Though Kareena has donned a bikini in her earlier films, she was not too comfortable with the amount of contact banal from her, this time round. 

Reportedly, Bebo expressed her apprehensions to Luthria and now, the two are working out the details of shooting the scene in the best possible way.

Since, Mandakini was best known for her alleged affair with underworld down Dawood Ibrahim, and the sari scene was one of the most talked-about things of her career, Milan is in no mood to scrap it. Instead, the director is now working out to tone down the scene a bit, to make it acceptable to Bebo.

Starring Akshay Kumar in the role of Dawood Ibrahim, OUATIM 2 would go on floors in January, next year.
