Director of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ Kabir Khan has asked Salman Khan to lose the extra kilos and sport a leaner look for the film. The film is being produced by Yash Raj Films and also features Katrina Kaif.
Kabir Khan has asked Khan to get rid of the bulky frame and the actor has apparently agreed to work out for the new look. The actor will now get into the desired shape within a month.Sources say that the the leaner look has been desired for a particular sequence in the film where Sallu has to go shirtless. The character that he is playing has to look fit and street smart. And his current bulky, brawny image will not do.
A source close to the project revealed, "Salman has to perform several rescue acts and go shirtless for many scenes in Ek Tha Tiger. Salman has always been known for his muscular frame.
But this time around, the director Kabir Khan wants him to get a lot leaner for his act. He wants Salman to look street smart. In fact, it was Salman himself who thought that losing weight would help him get into the required character. Salman has started a strict gymming routine. He has already started dieting. No more biryani parties at his place for the time being.”
It may be recalled that the film is going to be the first Indian film to be shot in Iraq. Some of the action sequences will also be shot in other international locales. Several international technicians have given their dates for the film already.
