Partho won the best actor award

After winning hearts early this year with his superb performance as Stanley in his father Amol Gupte's film STANLEY KA DABBA, Partho repeats the same again ! The film has been doing the rounds at different film festivals and has been appreciated by one and all.

According to media reports,at the Schlingel International Film Festival which concluded in Chemnitz in Germany this Sunday, the 10-year-old Partho won the best actor award from among 130 young actors competing in films from all across the world.

This isn't the only triumph for the film; Amol's film STANLEY KA DABBA has already won many prestigious awards like the Special Award Action Aid-Giffoni Film Festival, 2011-Italy, Best Film Critics Award at the Jagran Film Festival, 2011-New Delhi and also Partho's Best Child Actor at New talent awards-Mumbai.

Amole Gupte's debut film as a director STANLEY KA DABBA impressed the audiences when it released in May'11. With the future film festival screenings line-up, it looks like the film will reach out to much bigger audiences and will be riding high on awards.
